About the Founder

In 1995, Minister Sheila accepted her call as a Gospel Minister under the leadership of the late Rev D. A. Easley, New Light Baptist Church. In 1998, she graduated from Light Christian College of Ministry where she studied MDI/LBI and also received a Tabernacle Diploma in 2002.

 

Minister Sheila is a Licensed Minister. She presently serves faithfully at New Light Church, under the dynamic leadership of Sr. Pastor, Dr. Irishea Hilliard, as a Department Leader, Prayer Minister, Intercessor, and Minister Alliance.

 

Minister Sheila is a testament of God's healing powers. In May 2011, God performed a miracle in her life. She is a brain aneurysm survivor. Every year for the entire month of December (Birthday month), she celebrates her life; an outward show to the world of God's goodness. Giving all the glory to God, she rejoices because "she is still standing!"

 

In March 2020 using her gifts and talents for the glory of God, in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, she published an amazing book entitled, "An Imperfect Vessel Chosen For God's Glory;" a kingdom assignment orchestrated by God using intimate events of her life to share God's Message of Hope.

In January 2021, Minister Sheila founded and launched, Restorer of Hope Ministries and the "Restorer of Hope Diamond Book Club."

 

Minister Sheila, is the wife of Curtis "Honey" Whiting, a blessed mother of five, a gifted mother of three (total of 8 children), a grandmother of thirteen; and a great-grandmother of one. She is a servant of God who dedicates her life to living for the glory of God.

 

Minister Sheila Whiting has achieved her heart's desire; a legacy she can leave for her family. As God's messengers, she and her family are declaring "There is Hope In This Imperfect World."
